Design and development of modern websites

This bachelor thesis is focused on the design and preparation of an Internet presentation for the laboratory group called Optolab. The current form of the site is completely reconstructed using modern technologies, with regard to accessibility rules and compliance with web standards. The main task of the thesis is besides the complete graphic design also the implementation of the internal section for content management, communication and sharing of content among users.

My work contains a classification of a single editorial systems, possibly used during the Advertisement and the Auction system. There is a resolution of creation of the Advertisement and the Auction system, which should be used by the VUT in Brno city. The system is proposed to keep up design of the official internet pages of VUT Brno. A part of this document is generator of the administrative systems, able to generate the internet web pages to repair the small and middle MySQL databases.

Internet pages as a significant marketing factor of chosen companies

This bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of web pages of companies which specialize in commercial and sports flooring. Theoretical part of this thesis defines important retail marketing terms, commercial and sports flooring terms as well as main criteria for web pages comparison. In addition to that definition of SWOT analysis is also mentioned. The second part focuses on introduction of current economical situation in the area of flooring in Europe and Czech Republic. Introduction of the chosen companies is also included in this part. The final part presents the comparison of web pages of chosen companies and shows SWOT analysis for each of these companies.
